Description:
Assist individuals served in developing and achieving valued and desired outcomes that promote Individualization, Independence, Integration and Productivity. Functions as an independent agent, support system and advocate accountable to the individual served.
Compensation: $26,000 - $31,977 depending upon experience
Qualifications:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in human services or related field required.
- Minimum of one year experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or as a Service Coordinator with any population. Experience waived with Master's degree in health and human services field.
Requirements:
- Within first three months of employment, must become New York State Certified as a Service Coordinator.
- Annually must attend 15 hours of New York State mandated professional training.
- Must have a valid New York State driver's license and a registered, insured vehicle.
Other Competencies:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
- Excellent customer service skills required.
- Ability to independently manage and meet multiple deadlines required.
- Good Microsoft Office skills desired.
Hours:
Full time - approximately 40 hours per week
