Supervises and maintains person centered residential services for individuals with developmental disabilities so that all OMRDD regulatory standards and LDA policies and procedures are met.  Provides direct supervision and training of residential habilitation staff; responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the property, grounds, equipment and vehicles in a safe, sanitary, clean and functional condition; and assures that all revenue and expenses are monitored and meet budget expectations at all times.

1. Assumes direct responsibility for the administration, supervision and management of assigned residential staff and site(s) in compliance with all agency policies and procedures and in compliance with all governmental laws, codes, rules and regulations.
2. Remains updated and knowledgeable on all OMRDD and other funder regulations that pertain to Residential Services.
3. Screens and hires assigned staff to meet the needs of the house.
4. Provides ongoing direct supervision, staff development, training and support to maximize effectiveness of assigned staff.
5. Assures that all assigned staff receive all necessary agency and program orientations, trainings and certifications.
6. Completes performance reviews on Residential Habilitation Staff on an annual basis.
7. Provides backup staffing for Residential Habilitation Staff in their absence or as needed.
8. Acts as a member of the interdisciplinary team in formulation and execution of the residents’ Individualized Service Plans (ISP’s), Habilitation Plans, Individualized Plans of Protection (IPOP’s) and other plans of service as applicable.
9. Assures that records of the residents are maintained at all times in compliance with OMRDD regulations or by supervisor.
10. Reports all incidents, illnesses, or other unusual circumstances according to policies and procedures.
11. Is “on-call” as assigned in case of emergencies, incidents, etc.
12. Ensures that the IRA maximizes its billing requirement based on the current occupancy.
13. Acts as agency liaison to appropriate community and governmental entities and other provider agencies on matters relevant to residences.
14. Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

 

 

 

 

 

 


Qualifications:

* Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or a closely related field preferred with one year experience managing an OMRDD residential facility required or Associate’s Degree with three years experience in the OMRDD service field, including two years of supervisory experience, required. Will consider High School Diploma candidate with five years experience in the OMRDD service field, including two years of supervisory experience.
* QMRP is required for the large IRA’s.
* Must possess a valid driver’s license, and a registered, insured vehicle.
* Must be able to work a flexible schedule.
* Must be proficient in using Microsoft programs.
* Ability to demonstrate professionalism at all times.
* Must be ambulatory.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
* Ability to work independently required.
* Effective problem solving skills required.

 


Hours:

Full Time aproximately 40 hours per week.

$30,000 - $40,586/year
