This workshop will explore issues that parents of students with disabilities (LD)and students with LD should be aware of as they are considering transitioning to college. Topics to be covered include: academic requirements for college, appropriate documentation, language of disabilities, the law, mandated services in college, factors for academic success, necessities for academic success and the six attributes that contribute to success.
