LDA's Bayer Appointed to NYS Rehabilitation Council

LDA Deputy Director of Community Services, Lisa Bayer, has been selected to serve on the New York State Rehabilitation Council. The Council oversees the work of Vocational and Educational Services for Individuals with Disabilities (VESID) and reports the State's service outcomes to the Federal Office of Vocational Rehabilitation.
According to Joe A. Katagiri of the New York State Education Department, Ms. Bayer was "selected from a deep and competitive pool of candidates and [her nomination has]been passed by the New York State Board of Regents."
