How LDA Can Help You
Adult Basic Education and GED Preparation Services
LDA Life and Learning Services provides adult basic education and GED services to individuals who have been diagnosed with – or suspected of having – a learning disability and who want to increase their basic literacy skills or obtain a GED. Instruction is individualized and is a combination of one-on-one and small group instruction with a certified teacher. Because enrollment in this program is limited to 20 individuals, interested parties must apply and then be accepted. Due to the limited number of students served per year we select candidates who meet the outlined eligibility requirements and who are committed to learning.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Have a learning disability or be suspected of having a learning disability.
- Must be at least 18 years old and officially out of school.
- Can attend program a minimum of 4 hours per week
- Available for instruction between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
